Mackenzie Mack is a competitor, a teacher and student when it comes to the game of golf. As a competitor, Mackenzie has played at the most elite levels of the game against some of the best in the world. From being recognized as one of GolfWeek’s top 100 junior golfers, to playing AJGA, to obtaining status on the Symetra tour, to playing Division 1 golf, Mackenzie knows what it takes to play competitive golf at all levels.
The game of golf has given Mackenzie a story to tell and in return she makes every attempt to teach others and grow the game. Her attempts include co-founding Tee it Up as a means of sharing her passion with underserved communities while in college and currently working as the Program director as The First Tee of Tampa Bay.
As a student of the game, Mackenzie has perfected her craft by becoming a Class A member of the LPGA, Level 1 TPI certified and, and becoming a First Tee Certified instructor. Mackenzie believes that “In golf and in life, that everything will be okay in the end, and if it’s not okay then it isn’t the end.” So let’s get to work and make everything okay!
Michael Cestone, Coach
Michael’s passion is teaching and coaching golf. Six years ago he opened
Cestone Golf Academy in Pennsylvania. Michael relocated to Tampa Florida
to pursue his passion of coaching golf. His academy is now open at
Westchase Golf Club in Tampa Florida.
Michael is proficient at coaching students to reach their goals. He is certified
with TrackMan, USGTF, WGCA and is an authorized Callaway Club Fitter,
and is currently in the PGA Apprentice program.
Michael has extensive knowledge working with junior golfers, coaching his
sons to over 30 wins on various junior golf tours. The most notable of those
wins are a Pa State Junior Championship in the 14 and under division. He
coached the Abington Heights High School Golf team to a 10-3- 2 record as
his first year as head coach, with a team that graduated 5 starters from the
previous year. Michael is currently a lead coach at The First Tee of Tampa.
Michael has his hands on the pulse of junior golf with students competing on the AJGA,
Florida Junior Tour, Junior amateur tournaments, junior state tournaments, etc….
Michael played amateur golf his entire life. He started 4 years on his high school golf team.
He is a Club Champion and a runner up 4 times at the Country Club of Scranton. He has won,
with his father, 3 member/member tournaments, 3 senior/junior tournaments and 10 Father and Son
tournaments at the Country Club of Scranton.
Michael’s mission is to provide golfers of all abilities the necessary lessons and coaching to achieve their goals.
